organization providing help and hope to Irish Immigrants in the San Diego area. Irish Outreach provides resources and information
for the new immigrant in the areas of orientation, employment, housing, immigration laws, legal representation, landlord/tenant
disputes, citizenship processing, alcohol and drug counseling, pre-marriage counseling, support and social integration. |
Diversity Visa Lottery Starts Soon
The US Department of State has announced that the Diversity Visa (DV) lottery will open for DV-2010 entries on October 2, 2008 (noon, EST) and end on
December 1, 2008 (noon, EST). Applicants may access the electronic Diversity Visa entry form at www.dvlottery.state.gov during the registration period.
Irish citizens who are interested in working in the USA in the next couple of years should apply for the lottery as it will give them an opportunity to apply
for a “green card” (legal permanent residency).
